(ISC)² CISSP designation is one of the most recognized enterprise cybersecurity, risk, and governance certifications across the industry. It’s broad knowledge requirements and challenging exam typically place it at the end of a very long road of study and professional experience. Even very progressive and security-conscious organizations rarely see this certification outside of the CISO, CIO, CTO, Director of IT Security, or other high-level governance roles.
